- Personal Devotion
We believe that each of us must have a devotion to Christ through a personal prayer life and spend time in God’s word. Not as an obligation but as a desired necessity. We believe it’s from this personal relationship that we can escape the grips of religion, where we might end up having a form of godliness on Sunday but deny his power on our lives all week long.
- Together
We are at war with forces of darkness and it’s only the soldiers of Christ that tend to go to battle alone and no wonder we have so many spiritual casualties. With a biblical community approach, we are able to create spiritual support systems for each other, so that everybody can fight alongside somebody.
- Each One Is Gifted
Every single Christian is part of the body of Christ and as a member of the body, we believe that they are useful to the rest of the body because of the gifting and calling on their lives. We want to promote this mindset that everyone has a part to play and we don’t want to create a culture that robs Christians an opportunity to utilize their God given talents. Paul said “to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good” (1 Cor 12:7).
- Life is Better In Circles
Many of us sat in rows at church with very little engagement with one another. We prefer circles so as to create the desired engagements for biblical dialogue and allow for the Holy Spirit to knit us with one another. Nobody in our community has to ever feel like they are just a number but where everyone matters to us just as much as they matter to Jesus Christ who died for them.
- Intentional Service
We want to be a people that are always looking out for any opportunity to serve. We can serve others by helping them to become Christ’s disciples and meeting any need that God gives us grace to meet. We also look for any opportunity to serve those outside our regular gathering in any way we can, being the light and gaining the platform to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. In this we get to love one another and our neighbors.
